How to Get Discord Token?
Getting a discord token is super simple and can be achieved through a few easy steps. However, you must be the desktop version of discord through a browser like Google Chrome and such. Down below are the steps for obtaining a Discord User token and a Discord Bot token:
Discord Token (User)
These steps were performed using Google Chrome. If you are using a browser other than Google Chrome then please follow the steps as per your browser.
1. Sign in to your discord account using your preferred browser.
2. Click on the three dots at the top right.
3. Click on More Tools and then select Developer Tools.
4. A developer toolbox will pop up on your right side.
5. Click on the double arrow and click on Application.
6. Under Storage, double click on Local Storage and click on https://discord.com.
7. In the Filter box, type in token and you will find your token there.
8. If your token does not appear then click on the Toggle Device Toolbar option or press the Ctrl + Shift + M keys together.
9. Click on the token and then copy it from the box below.
Discord Token (Bot)
To access the Discord Bot, a Discord Token Bot is used as a medium. The steps below were performed using Google Chrome. If you are using a browser other than Google Chrome then please follow the steps as per your browser.
1. Go to the discord developer portal by clicking on the link.
2. Click on New Application.
3. Type in the Name for the bot and click on Create.
4. Click on ‘Bot‘ and under Build-A-Bot, click on ‘Add Bot‘.
5. Click on ‘Yes, do it!‘ under the Add a Bot To This App box.
6. Click on ‘Click to Reveal Token‘ to see the token.
Discord Token Safety
You should be careful with your discord token as anyone who knows your discord token will have dull access to your account. You should never share your discord token with other people. There have been many cases where people have lost their discord account and have been hacked due to this.
